1 Year Sober!!!!!

While Drinking                                       After Quitting 

                                  

On November 8th, 2009, Chris quit drinking. He started going to AA meetings the following Tuesday. He has  come a long way since that day. Today has been 1 year, I am so proud of him and I made it a big deal for him! I made him a card, made him dinner, and I baked him an awesome cake! I can't believe it has already been a year, it went by so quickly and he's still standing strong. He is a great guy with a lot of potential, he is now, not only healthier but a better person! I can't explain how proud I am of him, he has done a great job and is still counting on more years to come! He changed his life for the better and he is so proud of himself! It was hard to see him in such bad condition, but when I look at him now, all I see is Chris, a healthier, and better Chris! He accomplished an amazing thing that, for many others can be very difficult to do. He had a lot of determination and will power. He is a strong person, I knew he could do it, if he really wanted too. That's just the kind of guy he is, anything he puts his mind to, he can do it! I love him so much and I can't wait until next year and many more to come! I am so proud of him and one lucky gal!  :)

Smith River
